How long is forever?

Sometimes its just the few precious moments that you shared with your loved one(s).

There is this beautiful song by Christina Perri called “Thousand Years” for the movie Twilight- Breaking dawn 1 and 2…. If you haven’t given it an ear, i recommend you to, it’s beautiful to the say the least

The only woman made me hear this song and now she is gone but the song did stay, they always do.

Here is the poem inspired from that very thought

                    Thousand Years

Was counting stars to measure my love for you
Lost the count when in every star i saw you
In those eyes of yours i lived a certain lifetime
Our love saga will be remembered for no end of time
You will always stay my Juliet, oh dear
Coz i have loved you for a thousand years
Will love you for a thousand more

Your absence is the absence of light from me
Come closer, love me and beats of my heart, you be
I have waited for what seems like forever
Shelter me in your arm, love me only to leave never
Time freezes, stands still when you get near
Coz i have loved for a thousand years
Will love you for a thousand more

Every moment with you is inscribed in my heart
Will play you every cherished memory from the start
Will love you forever and afraid not i will be brave
This vow of mine i will take it to the grave
Never will i let fade, the smile you wear
Coz i have loved for a thousand years
Will love you for a thousand more

“Thousand years are no forever but a mere second with your loved one is”
